PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project consisted of the construction of a 132/11kV Zone Substation, it was part of a major Energy Australia program to improve the overall energy supply to the region.

The works involved the construction of upper and lower cable marshalling areas, cable tunnel pit walls, 11kV switch room, 132kV switch room, control room, battery rooms, pilot isolation room, transformer bay and amenities. The functioning substation was then wrapped in an architecturally enhance envelope which includes various façade treatments such as face brickwork, metal work panels, screens and louvers.
