Project Manager

About The Role

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Applying procedures for HSEQ
  • Accessing and using other relevant standards associated with electrical installation work
  • Accessing and abiding by codes of practice and other regulatory requirements
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Lead project planning sessions
  • Coordinate staff and internal resources
  • Manage project progress and adapt work as required
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines
  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
  • Participate in tender process i.e. design, submission and review
  • Design risk mitigation plan
  • Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff
  • Optimise and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
  • Secure growth opportunities
  • Manage large and diverse teams across multiple physical locations

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in residential, aged care and school electrical work
  • Ability to lead a team, attend site and office meetings
  • Great communication skills
  • NSW Electrical license or supervisor certificate

Salary negotiable based on experience.
