Project Manager
About The Role
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Applying procedures for HSEQ
- Accessing and using other relevant standards associated with electrical installation work
- Accessing and abiding by codes of practice and other regulatory requirements
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Lead project planning sessions
- Coordinate staff and internal resources
- Manage project progress and adapt work as required
- Ensure projects meet deadlines
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Participate in tender process i.e. design, submission and review
- Design risk mitigation plan
- Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff
- Optimise and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Secure growth opportunities
- Manage large and diverse teams across multiple physical locations
Skills & Experience
- Experience in residential, aged care and school electrical work
- Ability to lead a team, attend site and office meetings
- Great communication skills
- NSW Electrical license or supervisor certificate
Salary negotiable based on experience.
